Kenko Tripod Head

The Kenko KDS head (Micro adjusting geared travel head)
All white and metal design, the head can function for many different things and is light and small enough to carry anywhere.
For Birding:
The head has a removable dovetail plate and a 1/4 20 standard tripod thread screw (included) can be added so that a pair of binoculars or a spotting scope can be attached. The 2 large paddle knobs can be released to allow quick movement for following subjects like birds. Once these are locked, use the fine micro adjustment knobs to follow animals on the ground or in trees...great for digiscoping.

For Photography:
With the 1/4 20 screw attached to the camera or lens, the camera can be quickly moved into place and then fine adjustments can be made with the round knobs. Insuring that you have a correctly composed photograph.

For Astronomy:
The head comes with a standard dovetail plate originated by Vixen in Japan, so any telescope can be used which has this mount. Also has
